Civil Engineers

Job Description

• Provide engineering support and management on major civil engineering projects and civil elements of major building projects
• Provide input at design / tender stage to ensure the civil engineering elements of projects are compliant with appropriate regulations and are cost effective
• Supervise sub contractors carrying out civil engineering works on site, reporting to the Project Manager
• Liaise closely with Technical / Design Manager and Project Manager to ensure construction activity is organised in the most efficient and cost effective manner
• Liaise with the Planning Engineer and Commercial Manager regarding any impacts of design / method changes to the overall programme / costs
• Be aware of Health and Safety regulations and ensure sub-contractors comply with them
• Maintain strict quality management over all civil engineering aspects
