Job Description

• Provide mechanical and electrical support and management on major building and civil engineering projects
• Provide input at design / tender stage to ensure the M&E elements of projects are compliant with appropriate regulations and are cost effective
• Provide input into consultants M&E designs and ‘build ability’ and into the selection of sub-contractors
• Supervise sub-contractors carrying out civil engineering works on site, reporting to the Project Manager
• Liaise closely with Technical / Design Managers and Project Managers to ensure M&E construction activity is organised in the most efficient and cost effective manner
• Liaise with the Planning Engineer and Commercial Manager regarding any impacts of design / method changes to the overall programme /costs
• Be aware of the Health and Safety regulations and ensure sub-contractors comply with them
• Maintain strict quality management over all M&E engineering aspects
